Timothy

Timothy came to Grand County to enjoy mountain life as a ski instructor at Winter Park after years of serving in youth summer camps around the country. Originally from Nebraska, he earned a degree in biochemistry from Doane University in 2011. What began as a move to the mountains became a home and a new chapter of ministry at Valley Life.

Timothy first served as a volunteer at Valley Life, where his gifts and calling to ministry soon became clear. He joined the staff as part-time student minister in 2024 and became the full-time family ministries pastor in 2025. He also serves as an elder.

In his role, Timothy oversees ministry and outreach to the youngest members of our church family, from babies and toddlers to children and teenagers. He leads our team of children’s ministry volunteers and our weekly student ministry, helping guide the spiritual development of the next generation.

From summer camps to the mountains of Grand County, ministry to young people has been a continuing thread in Timothy’s story. We’re grateful that he now calls this community home.
